Fully accessible National Park hosts

Certified National Park hosts have had their facilities approved for barrier-free accessibility. NatKo, the German "tourism for all" organisation, has visited all the establishments and assessed their suitability for specific groups. They distinguish between places suitable for wheelchair users and those of limited mobility, those who have learning difficulties, the hard-of-hearing, the deaf, and the partially sighted or the blind. NatKo have also considered the requirements of young families and senior citizens.

The facilities and programmes offered by the hosts can satisfy many but not all of the wishes of specific target groups. Additional training provided by NatKo does however ensure that the hosts are at least attuned to the needs of people with disabilities. In the detailed descriptions (in German) of the individual National Park hosts you will find out whether there is anything to suit your requirements.

"Barrier-free Eifel National Park Hosts" is a joint project of the Eifel National Park Administration and the German-Belgian Hohes Venn - Eifel Nature Park. It aims to guarantee standards that enable everyone to eat or stay at National Park Host establishments - whether or not they have disabilities.
