Barrier-free travel

The Eifel National Park Administration would like to make it possible for everyone to experience the protected area - whether or not they have disabilities. They therefore see barrier-free accessibility as a cross-cutting issue, and its implementation as a key objective.

This is reflected in a number of things on offer:

The German-Belgian Hohes Venn-Eifel Nature Park has also put together a wide range of different programmes for people with and without disabilities (website in German and French only). Under "Eifel barrierefrei" (German only), it introduces various barrier-free programmes allowing people to experience nature in the entire Eifel region. "Rureifel barrierefrei" (German only) presents the Eifel Nature Experience Centres for fully inclusive school and group excursions.

Please let us know if you can suggest any improvements or if a programme has not met your expectations.
