Are you looking for

  • hotels,
  • guest houses,
  • restaurants,
  • holiday apartments,
  • campsites,
  • a youth guesthouse,
  • a camper van site,
  • hosts certified for fully accessible facilities,
  • or other National Park hosts and partners near other protected areas?

In order to qualify as certified Eifel National Park hosts, all guest house operators and restaurateurs have taken part in excursions and several days' training on the National Park. A requirement for being awarded this seal of approval is also that they comply with the quality and environmental standards of the "Eifel brand", or the Viabono standards for sustainable tourism. These include the sparing use of natural resources and avoidance of noise and waste, as well as an emphasis on the use of regional products and the strengthening of regional business cycles associated with that. Details of the criteria for National Park hosts and further information are to be found in the "Eifel National Park Hosts - Requirements, Criteria, Services and Charges" leaflet, which can be downloaded here (German only).

The Eifel National Park hosts are firmly committed to the following guiding principles:
"As hosts in the Eifel National Park we feel a special commitment to the Eifel National Park and surrounding region. We want to help preserve this unique natural landscape, for ourselves and for future generations. We should like to show our guests this landscape in all its beauty, and allow them to experience nature with all of their senses. We should like our guests to feel at home!"
