Out and about in the “Wild West” of North Rhine-Westphalia

Eifel National Park is situated on the western border of Germany, in North Rhine-Westphalia, some 65 kilometres southwest of Cologne. The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg are all in the near vicinity. The Belgian town of Eupen is around 30 kilometres away; whilst Maastricht in the Netherlands is around 75 kilometres away. To the south, Eifel National Park borders Belgium.

Whether you are travelling by bus, train or car: many routes lead to Eifel National Park! Five National Park gates around the conservation area and Eifel National Park Centre at the International Platz Vogelsang serve as the first port of call for visitors looking for information about the conservation area and what we offer.

Come and visit North Rhine-Westphalia’s National Park.

We look forward to your visit!
