Barriere-free National Park

Everyone should be able to experience the natural treasures of the National Park. As such, the National Park region has plenty to offer for everyone.

There are plenty of things to do that offer barrier-free accessibility: Our National Park Centre and the five National Park gates have been configured to meet the needs of people with various physical and cognitive impairments. The barrier-free Wilder Kermeter natural adventure centre provides access to nature without any obstacles – even animal observation stations and guided walks have been designed with people with disabilities in mind!

Rangers and forest guides regularly attend training sessions on barrier-free accessibility. They are trained to organise and run tours for people with and without disabilities. Staff in our information offices are also trained in breaking down barriers wherever possible. You are in the best hands!

If you have any questions concerning barrier-free accessibility in the Eifel National Park, please call our headquarters on +49 (0) 2444 9510-0 or email info@nationalpark-eifel.de. We are here to help!
